Principal’s Principles

Each child is a genius, waiting to be discovered.
Each child is a bundle of innate talent and creative energy, waiting to excel.
Each child needs love and appreciation.
Children become confident and perform better when they are loved.
A teacher’s job is not to give wisdom or knowledge, but to guide the child to  the threshold of    knowledge.
Absence of judgement encourages the children to explore, experiment,  take decisions and take    the responsibility  of those decisions.
There should be open and honest interaction between the teacher and the learner.
The teacher must provide gentle but firm support, only when it is needed.
The school must provide an environment, that inspires a child to learn.



Mrs. Alka Vaidya

Mrs. Alka Vaidya is a senior educationist with over 25 years of experience. A post graduate in psychology, education and environmental science, she is also involved in advanced research in education.  She has  worked as a teacher and Principal of residential and day schools, across India. Her exposure includes the Air Force Schools, Srinagar and Guwahati, Bhavan’s School, Nagpur, Sanjeevan Vidyalaya, Panchgani and St. Mary’s Convent,,Kanpur.  Amongst her most notable achievements has been the establishment of the MES Rani Laxmibai Girls Military School at Pune, of which she was the first principal. Mrs. Vaidya is also qualified in adventure sports and kathak.
